Day 01 – Arrival in Lima
Upon arrival in Lima, you will be welcomed by one of our representatives, who will give you a brief introduction to the city and our services while on the way to your hotel.
Lima, the "City of Kings" famous for its Spanish Colonial architecture, extraordinary museums, and cuisine. Lima is internationally recognized as the "Gastronomic Capital of the Americas", and its cuisine is considered among the most diverse and exquisite in the world compared with French cuisine.

Day 02 – Flight from Lima to Cusco & City Tour
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transported to the airport where you will board your flight to Cusco.
Upon arrival in the city of Cusco, you will be welcomed by one of our representatives, who will give you a brief introduction to the city and our services while on the way to your hotel.
Cuzco City Tour
See this magical city, capital of the Inca Empire (15th Century) on a tour that includes the Main Square, the cathedral, Santo Domingo monastery, the legendary Korikancha temple and a stop at San Cristobal for a panoramic view of the city. Then, in the outskirts you will see the Inca ruins at Sacsayhuaman, an impressively designed fortress built of huge stone blocks, Qenqo ceremonial and ritual center, the Amphitheatre where sacrifices were held and Tambomachay a temple dedicated to a water cult. As we return to Cusco, we will briefly stop at Plaza Regocijo and the Main Square to visit the cathedral, the principal church of the Diocese of Cusco.

Day 03 – Cusco – Huaca Casi Pass – Lares Hot Springs – Huacawasi
At approximately 7:00 am we will pick you up from your hotel to set out to the village of Lares where we will start our hike. During this journey, we will make a stop in the village of Calca, where we will visit the local market. You can also buy supplies here. When we arrive at Lares we will enjoy the thermal hot springs, and enjoy a delightful lunch. After lunch, we will continue our hike towards the first campsite in Huacawasi (3600m/11811f). During these 3 hours, we will walk gradually uphill. This will serve as a good training for the next day when we will reach the highest point of the trek. The first night we will spend the night at the house of our horsemen who will join us on the trip. Upon arrival, your tents will be ready and you will be able to enjoy popcorn, sweets and some hot tea before dinner.

Day 04 – Huacawasi – Sondor – Paso Sacsayllame – Aruray Cocha – Yurak Cocha – Miski Unu
After a nourishing breakfast, we will begin our hike towards the highest point, the pass of Sacsayllame at 4400m or 14.435 feet. The hike will take about 4 hours and will be a very steep uphill climb. Of course, a horse will accompany us so everyone is able to reach the top. During the hike, you will be left in awe by the enormous mountains, a patchwork of agricultural lands and breathtaking views. Be aware that we will reach great heights and the weather can be very cold. After reaching the highest point, we will descend and pass a beautiful lagoon before having lunch next to the river. You will be able to recover a bit while our cooks prepare a delicious lunch for you.
Next, we will descend further through a forest where you will enjoy the “Queuñas” (Polylepis), a native tree from Peru.
This walk will take about 1 hour before reaching our campsite at Miski Unu (3550m/11.646 feet).
A lovely place out in the middle of nowhere where you will be served some hot tea and other snacks upon arrival before having dinner.

Day 05 – Miski Unu – Queshuarchalloc - Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes
This will be another spectacular day. We will be hiking downhill through various forests. You will be able to enjoy a rich biodiversity of fauna and flora during this 3 hours walk that will end in the Sacred Valley of the Inca’s. Be sure to bring mosquito repellant because there will be plenty of them, especially in the jungle areas.  We will enjoy our last lunch in Queshuarchalloc where we will say goodbye to the horsemen and cooks. After lunch, we will take a local bus to Ollantaytambo. We will visit the beautiful town of Ollantaytambo before having dinner at a local restaurant. At 7 PM we will take the train to reach our destination of the day, the town of Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night.

Day 06 – Machu Picchu Citadel Excursion
We will leave our hotel after breakfast and board a bus that will take you to the entrance gate of the citadel of Machu Picchu.
Rediscovered by Hiram Bingham more than a century ago, Machu Picchu is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Its architectural beauty, spectacular natural landscapes and the energy held in its enigmatic structures will take your breath away. You will follow in the footsteps of the ancient Incas as you explore this magical citadel along with your guide.
After the tour, you will stop at a local restaurant for lunch.
At the scheduled time, you will be picked up and taken to the Aguas Calientes train Station, where you will board your return train. Upon your arrival at the train Station, a transport service will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in the city.

Day 07 – Flight from Cusco to Lima / Depart Home
After enjoying a delicious farewell breakfast in the hotel is time to say ¡Hasta Luego!
At the scheduled time you will be shuttled from the hotel to the airport to board your flight back to Lima, later on, your connecting flight home.
