Day 01 – Arrival in Lima
Upon arrival in Lima, you will be welcomed by one of our representatives, who will give you a brief introduction to the city and our services while on the way to your hotel.
Lima, the "City of Kings" famous for its Spanish Colonial architecture, extraordinary museums, and cuisine. Lima is internationally recognized as the "Gastronomic Capital of the Americas", and its cuisine is considered among the most diverse and exquisite in the world compared with French cuisine.

Day 02 – Lima City Tour & Larco Museum
After breakfast at the hotel, we will start visiting Miraflores, which is one of the biggest touristic attraction shortly after we will look at the panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana, an archaeological precinct built in the IV century A.C.
Next, we will have a stop in San Isidro to visit the Olive Grove Park. Later, we will go to the historical center where we will visit one of Lima’s most beautiful buildings and attractions such as the San Martin Square, the Main Square, the Governmental Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace and the City Hall.
At the end, we will visit the museum of Saint Francis Convent, which features the biggest collection of religious art in all the Americas and its famous subterranean crypts known as the Catacombs.
After the tour enjoy a delicious buffet lunch before you continue your visit to the Larco Museum.
A highlight will be the Larco Museum, set in an 18th-Century mansion built on top of a pre-Colombian pyramid of the 7th-Century. Observe a myriad of treasures exhibited at one of the world’s most prestigious museums for gold and silver. Don’t miss the warehouse and the exclusive collection of pre-Columbian erotic ceramics, one of South America’s most popular attractions.
At the end of the tour, you will have a broad knowledge of the capital of Peru setting you up for further exploration, or giving you a comprehensive overview if you are pushed for time.

Day 03 – Flight from Lima to Cusco & City Tour
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transported to the airport where you will board your flight to Cusco.
Upon arrival in the city of Cusco, you will be welcomed by one of our representatives, who will give you a brief introduction to the city and our services while on the way to your hotel.
Cuzco City Tour
See this magical city, capital of the Inca Empire (15th Century) on a tour that includes the Main Square, the cathedral, Santo Domingo monastery, the legendary Korikancha temple and a stop at San Cristobal for a panoramic view of the city.
Then, in the outskirts you will see the Inca ruins at Sacsayhuaman, an impressively designed fortress built of huge stone blocks, Qenqo ceremonial and ritual center, the Amphitheatre where sacrifices were held and Tambomachay a temple dedicated to a water cult. As we return to Cusco, we will briefly stop at Plaza Regocijo and the Main Square to visit the cathedral, the principal church of the Diocese of Cusco.

Day 04 – Cusco - Km 82 – Wayllabamba – Yuncachimpa
We will leave Cuzco (3350m/10990f) at 5:30 am, board a tour bus and head for the Sacred Valley of the Incas. At the Inca Trail Depart point before we reach our starting point of our hike, km 82, we will take a short break in Ollantaytambo for those wishing to eat breakfast.
The official beginning of the Inca Trail is called km 82. Here, we will meet the rest of the group and take care of the registration facilities. After crossing the Rio Urubamba (2200m) we will start the legendary Inca Trail. The first day of the trail is easy to walk and is a good warm-up for the following days. We will have lunch in Miskay, a small river bank while getting some information about the archaeological complex of Llactapata.
After that, we will continue our hike to Wayllabamba (3100m/10170f) and ascend to Yuncachimpa (3300m/10826f), the campsite we will spend the night in. From here we have a great view of the mysterious Nevado de Verónica.

Day 05 – Yuncachimpa – Llulluchapampa – Warmihuañusca Pass – Pacaymayu – Runkurakay Pass – Chaquicocha
The second day is the ‘Free-Hike-Day’ at Sayac Marcacourse; that means that everybody should walk at his/her own pace – you will meet during the small breaks or see each other while beating the stairs. Early in the morning the trail first leads through the Valley of Llulluchapampa (3850m/12631f). The first 3km are steep - enjoy the humid woodland and the water sounds. From Llulluchapampa follow the path for 2-3 hours until you reach the highest point of this section, the Warmihuañusca Pass (Dead Woman Pass) (4200m/113780f). This climb is known as the most difficult part of the Inca Trail.
After a short break at the summit, you will continue your hike with a long and steep descent to the river Pacaymayo (Sunrise River) towards the Runkurakay pass (3050m/10007f) until you reach our campsite called Chaquicocha at (3650m/11975f). Here, you can rest and recover from the tough day while enjoying an amazing view of the mountains.

Day 06 – Chaquicocha – Phuyupatamarca – Wiñayhuayna
The third day is the most beautiful one. You will notice a change in the eco-system while walking to Wiñaywaynathe tropical forest of Wiñaywayna. We will pass two small lakes at the top of the second pass (3950m). Then you will face a gentle climb through beautiful cloud forest and a small Inca tunnel before the third pass (3700m) offers a grand view over the Rio Urubamba Valley. The nearest settlement is named Phuyupatamarca/"Town above the clouds" (3600m/11811f). A well-preserved site with long chain Inca baths where you can enjoy impressive ancient engineering.
We will pass another Inca Tunnel before visiting the ruins of Wiñaywayna/"Forever young" (2650m/8694f). The Inca stairs change into a zigzag trail until we reach a red-roofed white building, our last camping site, and a location with hot water and bottled drinks.

Day 07 – Machu Picchu Citadel Excursion & Huayna Picchu
After our breakfast at 4:30 am, we will head, equipped with our flashlights, to the Inti Punku (Sun Gate) to get the first glimpse of Machu Picchu and watch the sunrise over Machu Picchu. The last triumphal descent will take almost one hour before visiting the citadel of Machu Picchu (2400m//7874f) around 8.00am. You can enjoy its spiritual charm during a guided tour (about two hours) that helps you to understand the meaning and ancient use of the different buildings. After this tour you will have enough time to explore the archaeological site on your own (f.ex. go to the Inca Bridge, explore the variety of buildings and climb Huayna Picchu for an amazing panorama picture). From Machu Picchu, there will be a bus awaiting you to take you down to Aguas Calientes.
Later on, you will stop at a local restaurant for lunch.
At the scheduled time, you will be picked up and taken to the Aguas Calientes train Station, where you will board your return train. Upon your arrival at the train Station, a transport service will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in the city.

Day 08 – Full Day Sacred Valley Tour
Breakfast will start your day at the hotel, followed by an early morning guided visit to the Sacred Valley.
We will start the tour departing through the lush countryside, arriving at the colonial town of Pisac, where a colorful market will welcome us.
We will continue our route through the valley, passing by typical towns, until we reach the archaeological province of Urubamba where we will enjoy a delicious, local buffet for lunch. After we have eaten, we will visit the old but lively ex-fortress town of Ollantaytambo. The town is composed of numerous temples and terraces.
This archaeological complex is one of the biggest monuments that the Incas have ever built.

Day 09 – Flight from Cusco to Lima / Depart Home
After enjoying a delicious farewell breakfast in the hotel is time to say ¡Hasta Luego!.
At the scheduled time you will be shuttled from the hotel to the airport to board your flight back to Lima, later on, your connecting flight home.
