Day 01 - Arrival in Lima
Upon arrival in Lima, you will be welcomed by one of our representatives, who will give you a brief introduction to the city and our services while on the way to your hotel.
Lima, the "City of Kings" famous for its Spanish Colonial architecture, extraordinary museums, and cuisine. Lima is internationally recognized as the "Gastronomic Capital of the Americas", and its cuisine is considered among the most diverse and exquisite in the world compared with French cuisine.

Day 02 - Flight from Lima to Arequipa & City Tour
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transported to the airport where you will board your flight to Arequipa.
Upon arrival in the city of Arequipa, you will be welcomed by one of our representatives, who will give you a brief introduction to the city and our services while on the way to your hotel.
We will, then, visit the Santa Catalina Monastery, Plaza de Armas, the Jesuit Church "La Compañia", its cloisters and domes, the Tristan del Pozo House, and the Yanahuara neighborhood (vantage point and Church). This vantage point allows for an amazing view of the typical city of Yanahuara Carmen.

Day 03 - Arequipa to Colca
After breakfast, we will continue our excursion towards the Colca Valley. We will be driving across Pampa Cañahuas, in the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, which is a habitat for herds of Vicuñas. We will also be stopping at the Mirador de Los Andes, the Crater of Chucura, the Mirador de Chivay, where beautiful pre-Colombian terraces are still being cultivated by native Collaguas. The summit is 4,350 meters above sea level.
Finally, we will arrive in the Town of Chivay approximately at 1 pm. There we will shuttle you to your hotel, followed by lunch.
You will have the rest of the afternoon free to visit the thermal Hot Springs and Medicinal baths if you so desire.

Day 04 - Condor’s Cross & Colca Canyon to Puno
Breakfast. We go to the Condor´s Cross vantage point, to see the beauty of the Canyon and the spectacular flight of the Condor. On our way back, we will stop in the villages of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque, featuring beautiful colonial churches, as well as the viewpoints of Antahuilque and Choquetico, where we observe the impressive valley terraces, and pre-Inca tombsLunch.
Transfer from Chivay to Puno, on the way we make stops in Lagunillas, where there are several lagoons and various migratory birds. 19:00 Arrival to Puno

Day 05 - Full Day Excursion Uros & Taquile Island
Breakfast will start your day at the hotel, then you will enjoy unforgettable motorboat excursion on the waters of Lake Titicaca to the unique “Floating Islands” of the Uros.
These ancient inhabitants of the Lake, known as “The Water Tribe”, have built their own “Islands” by periodically adding new layers of a type of reed called “totora” (Scirpus totora), vegetable fibre of the Papyrus family. Their homes and boats are also made of the same material.
Continuing our trip to the island of Taquile, known for having the best weavers of ancient Peru. This place has preserved many rituals and the lifestyle of the ancient Incas. We will walk for about 30 minutes to the center of the island, stay there for 3 amazing hours and have lunch. Then we will descend down a long stairwell of 500 steps!

Day 06 - The Route of the Sun
Breakfast will start your day at the hotel, then will depart for the City of Cusco.
During the trip, we will visit the impressive Temple of Kalasaya and the ruins from the ancient Pucara Culture.
About 43 miles further on, we will pass through La Raya ranch where we can see herds of vicuñas and llamas.
We will enjoy a buffet lunch at a countryside restaurant where you will enjoy the delightful culinary dishes of the region.
We will, then, proceed to the beautiful town of Andahuaylillas and visit the Church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas, better known as the Sistine Chapel of the Americas, due to its decorated polychrome ceiling. Then, we will stop at Raqchi, where we can see a spectacular Inca sanctuary built by the Inca Emperor Pachacutec, and dedicated to the great Inca God of Wiracocha. It has a great central wall with a stone base of fine Inca architecture.
Other walls are made of giant adobe bricks. The structure also has two circular lateral columns and around the Temple, you can also see several buildings once used for housing and storage.

Day 07 - Cusco City Tour
After breakfast at your hotel, you will see this magical city, capital of the Inca Empire (15th Century) on a tour that includes the Main Square, the cathedral, Santo Domingo monastery, the legendary Korikancha temple and a stop at San Cristobal for a panoramic view of the city.
Then, in the outskirts you will see the Inca ruins at Sacsayhuaman, an impressively designed fortress built of huge stone blocks, Qenqo ceremonial and ritual center, the Amphitheatre where sacrifices were held and Tambomachay a temple dedicated to a water cult. As we return to Cusco, we will briefly stop at Plaza Regocijo and the Main Square to visit the cathedral, the principal church of the Diocese of Cusco.

Day 08 - Full Day Sacred Valley Tour
Breakfast will start your day at the hotel, followed by an early morning guided visit to the Sacred Valley. We will start the tour departing through the lush countryside, arriving at the colonial town of Pisac, where a colorful market will welcome us.
We will continue our route through the valley, passing by typical towns, until we reach the archaeological province of Urubamba where we will enjoy a delicious, local buffet for lunch. After we have eaten, we will visit the old but lively ex-fortress town of Ollantaytambo. The town is composed of numerous temples and terraces.
This archaeological complex is one of the biggest monuments that the Incas have ever built.

Day 09 - Machu Picchu Citadel Excursion
Aboard the comfortable train, you will depart for the Aguas Calientes Station, with a spectacular view along the way.
Upon arrival, you will board a bus that will take you to the entrance gate of the citadel of Machu Picchu. Rediscovered by Hiram Bingham more than a century ago, Machu Picchu is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Its architectural beauty, spectacular natural landscapes and the energy held in its enigmatic structures will take your breath away. You will follow in the footsteps of the ancient Incas as you explore this magical citadel along with your guide. After the tour, you will stop at a local restaurant for lunch.
At the scheduled time, you will be picked up and taken to the Aguas Calientes train Station, where you will board your return train.
Upon your arrival at the train Station, a transport service will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in the city.

Day 10 - Flight from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transported to the airport where you will board your flight to Puerto Maldonado.
Start your journey arriving in Puerto Maldonado, where our staff will welcome you and provide the necessary information for your stay. Navigate by outboard motorized canoe along the Madre de Dios River to Inkaterra Hacienda Concepción for approximately 25 minutes. Enjoy LUNCH with organic ingredients and native flavors. After lunch, take a walk through CONCEPCION TRAILS, inside property nature trails, where you will discover and learn about the primary and secondary rainforest, its components, uses, transformations by the human being, and its relevance for the world. At dusk navigate by outboard motorized canoe, at the TWILIGHT RIVER excursion. By sailing on the Madre de Dios River, you will learn about its ecosystem, Amazonian creeks, nocturnal animals’ behavior, and the southern constellations. In the evening enjoy a nice DINNER in the Casa Grande´s dining room.

Day 11 - Canopy Walkway
New experiences are ahead and after taking a nutritious buffet BREAKFAST, get ready for a long trek through terra firma into the Tambopata National Reserve towards LAKE SANDOVAL. Here you will understand why Madre de Dios is called the biodiversity capital of Peru, while learning about the Reserve’s conservation efforts and the lake’s formation. Navigate by dugout canoe across this mirror-like oxbow lake that is home to the endangered giant river otter (Pteronura brasiliensis), blue and yellow macaw (Ara ararauna), red howler monkey (Alou Atta seniculus), black caiman (Melanosuchus Niger), and one of the world’s biggest freshwater scaled fish, the paiche (Arapaima gigas). Back to the lodge for LUNCH, and later the INKATERRA CANOPY WALKWAY & ANACONDA WALK await for you. Take a 20-minute ride by outboard motorized canoe to the Inkaterra Canopy Walkway Interpretation Center where you will learn about its construction and the conservation projects of ITA-Inkaterra Association (NGO). Ascend one of the two 98-foot towers (30 m.) and cross the 7 hanging bridges that connect the treetops at 91 ft. high (28 m). Enjoy the breathtaking vistas and get the chance to watch white-throated toucans (Ramphastos tucanus), woodpeckers, trogons, squirrel monkeys (Saimiri boliviensis) and the three-toed sloth (Choleopus hoffmani). After descending keep on feeling the incredible primary rainforest energy going along the 200-meter wooden bridge over the swamps (aguajales). You will learn about the fauna and flora of this flooded ecosystem. At night get ready for an adventure during the RAINFOREST BY NIGHT excursion, where you will explore the Amazon rainforest that gives way to nocturnal animals who display intriguing behavior patterns, and enhanced senses as adaptation mechanisms. Listen to nocturnal living nature sounds, and penetrate this hidden world. End up your day with a pleasant DINNER

Day 12 - Flight from Puerto Maldonado to Lima / Depart Home
After buffet breakfast, take a ride back to Puerto Maldonado by outboard motorized canoe. Arrive at the Butterfly House where you may wait for your flight back home or to your next destination while visiting this beautiful BUTTERFLY HOUSE and learning about the fascinating transformation of these colorful insects.
